It's a jungle!

I went on a five day workshop on site analysis in Itasca State Park last weekend and was particularly moved by the prairie we saw. The sounds of the wind, the movement of the grass and the shape of the landscape were sensational. I sat on a hill and watched the activity of the plants, as well as the cloud shadows roll across the land, and it reminded me of the ocean. I felt like I was flowing with prairie, moving along with it, being swept away..

Balance

If I could reign in these elements to a nice even balance, life would be steadfast. But what fun is that?

A crazy storm rolled through and I snapped a few pictures of some super cool clouds!

The Husband came to me a little over a month ago with an idea.  It started out small and discrete, yet, like most of his "brilliant" ideas, turned into a much grander nod to his childhood.  We are now the proud owners of a 24X10 mini ramp (although I get really upset if  anyone claims it mini) that takes up a third of my backyard.

Well I cannot commit to the 365 trend of blogging and photo-ing.. But 120 days of summer could be my thing! I will post an event that happens everyday this summer, and will accompany it with my staggering, dorky wit..

Update.  Wow, again dropped the ball on this one! Hehe-whew.....
